“Children of Socialism”, part 1

The past Slovenian political system of socialism affected hugely our culture and art. It determines all of us designers. The fusion of socialism and capitalism is best represented in our architecture, buildings built in the past 10 years, designed by architects, the children of socialism. 

All buildings’ shape specifics mirrored in my collection, are based on asymmetries. The design is playing with geometric figures, resulting in volume pieces. Winds, nets, dots, lines are giving a playful touch to the rather dark color palette.
